Equipping Gospel Workers

for every generation

“Norfolk once sent gospel workers to the world. Today, we need to raise gospel workers for Norfolk.”

An Urgent Need.

The 2021 Census found that 53.5% of Norwich residents identified as having no religion, making it one of the least religious cities in England. Most people in Norfolk are growing up without regularly hearing the good news of Jesus.

At the very moment more workers are needed, fewer are entering gospel ministry. Recent research among UK Reformed evangelical churches found that financial concerns are one of the most significant barriers preventing men and women from pursuing vocational ministry.

The Govett Foundation exists to change that.

We remove financial barriers by investing in the next generation of gospel workers, so that Norfolk’s next chapter is marked not by decline, but by the advance of the gospel.
